DBT Skills Intensive Workshop
A 15-hour, in-person DBT Skills Intensive Workshop designed to help college students build practical coping skills before moving away or returning to campus. Led by Castlebrook Counseling clinicians, this workshop teaches foundational Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help students navigate one of life's biggest transitions with greater confidence.

What You'll Learn
During this 15-hour intensive workshop, students will learn:
From our DBT curriculum:
✓ Improve understanding of biological sensitivities to transitions
✓ Learn foundational Validation skills in DBT
✓ Learn foundational Change skills in DBT
✓ Learn ways to use skills during transition to college
✓ Learn new ways to approach problematic situations and behaviors
✓I ncrease effective communication
✓ Improve emotional self-regulation

This workshop is designed for college students who are:
This group will meet in person in August 2026. Final dates and times will be announced soon.
The cost of the workshop is $850. There is a minimum enrollment of 4 participants and a maximum of 12 participants to ensure a personalized learning experience. If there is sufficient interest, this workshop may be offered on additional dates. Limited to 20 participants to ensure personalized attention and space for your questions.

- Returning to college after summer break
- Looking to strengthen emotional regulation skills
- Wanting healthier ways to manage stress and relationships
- Interested in learning evidence-based DBT skills before the semester begins
