McKayla Weaver, M.S., M.B.A., completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College, where she gained valuable experience through an internship at a community mental health center. Through her internship, McKayla worked with a diverse client population facing a wide range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and life transitions. Additionally, McKayla holds an MBA from Johnson & Wales University, where she also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

McKayla worked in outpatient settings specializing in treating anxiety during her clinical training, where she collaborated with colleagues to develop and implement individualized, exposure therapy–based care plans. She facilitated sessions for individuals, families, and groups, while also supporting parents in learning effective coaching strategies to help manage their child’s anxiety symptoms.

​McKayla enjoys using a human-centered approach to ease clients into their therapeutic journey, ensuring comfort and trust from the very beginning. Her dedication fuels her mission to normalize conversations around mental health, promote awareness, and foster resilience.
Outside of her professional work, McKayla finds joy in spending quality time with friends, attending hot yoga classes for relaxation, hiking with her dog Avocado, and listening to live music.
