Addison Kay is a clinician with a focus in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Addison graduated with a Master’s in Social Work degree from Boston College where he spent time working with adults and older adults with complex mental health challenges, and with college students at Brandeis University.
Previously, he completed the McLean Hospital Post-Baccalaureate fellowship. At McLean hospital, he worked at the 3East DBT Residential Programs where he taught DBT Skills Groups and provided coaching to adolescents who struggle with self-harm, addictive behaviors, and suicidality. Additionally, Addison is the author of The DBT Skills Workbook for Teens with BPD with Dr. Blaise Aguirre. Addison is passionate about meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to set goals. In his free time, Addison enjoys reading, playing board games, and rock climbing.
