Dr. Elizabeth Anderson, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with many years of experience working with adolescents and adults with complex issues. Dr. Anderson received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, a Master's Degree from Teacher's College at Columbia University, a Master's Degree from Harvard, and Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Psychology.
Dr. Anderson is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and has worked for many years with teens in residential programs and individuals with trauma as well as chronic mental health issues. At Castlebrook, Dr. Anderson is particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults facing challenges managing anxiety, mood fluctuations, depression, and complex family dynamics. Dr. Anderson focuses on assisting her clients in identifying patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and building on strengths to develop skills and new ways of approaching challenges to improve overall mental health, foster self-esteem, and return individuals and families to productive growth in work, school, and personal relationships. |
