David Polidi, LICSW, MEd is an independently licensed clinical social worker who specializes in supporting families witcommunication and relationship building, school/ work related concerns, finding resiliency to overcome past trauma, and supervising other clinicians and students in the mental health field.
David creates a collaborative and interpersonal relationship, to help empower those he works with to dream of a positive future, and find practical ways to work towards this reality. David graduated from Boston University twice (his pocketbook was not happy) the first time was with a Masters in School Counseling. The second time, he graduated with a Masters in Social Work (and decided that is enough school for now)! For years, David was a School Counselor, learning the ins and outs of the school system—but decided, he wanted to work closer with families, and help them navigate the sometimes complex school system (especially around IEP’s and helping school systems better understand some of the mental health needs of their children). For the past 10 years, David has worked in community-based settings and has gained expertise in working with families and treating people with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. He also works with people to help increase their self-esteem and self-worth, and find ways to feel more connected with others and their community. Read more about David here. |
