Cynthia Williams, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with a wide variety of experience working with individuals of all ages. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine before moving to Massachusetts to attend the William James College, where she received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Cynthia spent two years working in residential communities, first with children and families, and then adults with significant mental health issues. She uses a multi-dimensional approach, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Centered Treatment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, art therapy, experiential therapy, and more. Cynthia has experience working with both short-term, solution-focused therapeutic relationships, as well as long-term care management therapeutic relationships. She has experience with couples therapy, family therapy, and works with children, adolescents, and adults.
